It will be tough competition as we move forward in the stages of the tournament where the best and strongest teams of Asia are playing in. indeed, the level of performance of the participating teams witnessed a significant development and improvement, specifically teams of East Asia. They are really a nightmare for any other team and playing against them requires high level of caution, Ismael concluded.

H.E. Hamad Bin Nukhirat Al Ameri, Member of the Local Organizing Committee and Chairman of Al Ain Group, said: “Every major sporting event in our beloved country presents new challenges and motivates us to achieve the best and highest success indicators. We have to take in consideration that all the tournaments hosted by the UAE have been associated with great achievements and a distinct organization that embodies the meanings of creativity and keeping pace with the signs of success and development.”

He added: “We are facing a great challenge to build upon the great gains and successes achieved by UAE in organizing and hosting major sporting events at all regional, continental and international levels.” He stated that all organizing groups are working in harmony and with full coordination. “We all work as one team to achieve one national goal and try to take advantage of the initiatives and ideas put forward by other groups as opportunities to improve, advance and develop our performance.”

“All the sources are available and harnessed to enable the teams do their tasks at the best levels. Indeed, it is a massive responsibility for all to represent the UAE in the best manner. So far things go on smoothly and as planned, and all the teams and delegations that have been in Al Ain are received elegantly and creatively. We all here to provide them with all they need and thanks God we have not received any negative feedback from the AFC officials. We always to add a positive impact and reflect the best image that suits and equal to the image and reputation of the UAE.”

On the spectators’ attendance to matches held in Al Ain City, Al Ameri said: “According to the numbers we have, they are positive, and we are always keen to provide the fans of the participating national teams with all facilities and facilities, starting from reaching the stadium and providing accommodation for them with cooperation with the services provides in Al Ain. Thankfully, the attendance rate is positive, as there are no games with a low attendance rate of less than 50% of the stadium’s capacity. In certain games, we were obliged to provide big screens outside the stadium to watch their national team’s matches. I expect as we are moving ahead in the stages of the tournament, we will have more spectators to attend the matches.”

On his opinion in the performance of the UAE National Team in the past two matches, he said: “We are always optimistic despite the fact that all indicators were so positive. However, it is all about the performance of the team in the pitch. Many teams did not play well in their first matches as the Australian team who lost their first match against Jordan. This should motivate us to support our team in the right manner as we still have big chances to qualify to advanced stages of the tournament.” He commented on the results of the UAE team by saying: “We drew in the first match and won the second. This should make us optimistic and definitely the team will show their best performance. We are not experts, but we know the players well and the team’s head coach has a big name. Again, we know that the past matches of the team and the results were not up to the expectations, but we know well that the performance is improving gradually and we do not have to forget that our goal is win all the matches regardless of the performance as performing well and losing the match will not lead us to achieve the goal. Anyway, we are standing behind our team till the end of their journey with sights set to achieve the desired aspirations.”
