Hailing the massive and continuous support of the Ainawi Nation from the stands or social media platforms, Abdullah Ali stressed that they have been playing a pivotal role in achieving victories since the beginning of the current season.

In press statements to media after the final whistle of Al Ain and Ittihad Kalba match reaching the 42 points topping the standing table, Abdullah Ali pointed out: “We still have a long way to go to win the title of the league. However, the Boss squad players know well what they are meant to do in each stage. We also should praise the players for their robust performance during each stage and genuine desire to defend the Boss crest.”

“The experience of the Boss squad’s leaders, including Khalid Eisa, Bandar Al Ahbabi, Mohammed Ahmad, Ahmad Barman, and Yahiya Nader, in addition to the stunning performance of the foreign players, namely Laba, Soufian, Guanca, and Danilo, boost the positive feelings prevailing the team’s atmosphere. It gives the young players the motive to keep going and perform well in all matches. We wish them all the best of luck,” Abdullah Ali said.

He added: “We should temporarily close the league chapter and focus on the away semifinal match of the ADNOC Pro Cup against Al Jazira scheduled to be held this Tuesday 1st March 2022.”

The Team Supervisor pointed out that the Boss’ goals are crystal-clear under the unlimited support of the Club’s Board of Directors, chaired by Dr. Matar Al Darmaki. “We do trust the players to make it happen and the fans’ support to back to our fort with three points in hand with all due respect to Al Jazira’s aspirations.”

Commenting on the team’s preparations for the coming clash match, he said: “Per the pre-set programs and the tight schedule we have, the head coach did not give any break to the players. Therefore, the coaching teams will hold an evening training session in preparation for the coming match.”

As for Erik’s injury stated that the initial medical checkups showed it was not of any concern. However, he added: “He suffered from a mild contusion during Al Ain and Ittihad Kalba match. He will undergo further medical checkups today and hope that he will be ready for our match against Al Jazira.”
