Sergiy Rebrov: We Won the Opponent Deservedly and Competition Journey Still Far Away

The match was held at Al Nahyan Stadium on Saturday 12th March 2022.
Sergiy added: “Both teas exerted great efforts, but we were able to finish the match in our favor and snatched the match’s three points. However, we will take the FIFA days break and wish the UAE Football Team all the best of luck in their coming matches.”
Commenting on a question on whether winning Al Wahda means the Boss put firm hands on the League’s title, he said: “I believe that ADNOC Pro League is a difficult league and the journey still miles away to go. Indeed, it isn’t easy to expect anything, and we faced challenges in the recent match we played at home. This is why we have to focus on our next match following the current break time.”
In response to a question on wasting several chances by Al Wahda and that Al Ain was lucky to score and won the match, he said: “No need to focus on this as both teams committed mistakes and both tried to score and won the match. However, by the end of the day, we won the home team deservedly and snatched the match’s three points.”
