Croatia’s Zoran Mamic, Head Coach of Al Ain First Football Team, has confirmed that his team’s preparations for the top clash quarter-final match of the Arabian Gulf Cup against Al Wahda advance by leaps and bounds. He underscored: “We are doing our homework exactly at the same level of high attention and focus dedicated for all Al Ain’s challenges in all competitions because simply it is Al Ain strategy to deal with all matches is flawless and our goal is so clear-cut.”

He added: “We were not lucky enough in the first leg match of the Arabian Gulf Cup against Al Wahda.” He stated: “Certainly, our performance in the away match should be better to achieve the desired result which will tip the balance of Al Ain and pave the way for us to the next stage of the competition.”

“Absolutely, Al Ain’s performance will be superior compared to previous home match,” commenting on a question on expectations to win the coming match given that Al Ain lost the home match by 1-2 in favor of Al Wahda. He pointed out: “Omar Abdul Rahman “Amoory” will be back and already his name is included in the starting lineup. We will do our best to compensate the past result and win the match with all due respect to the opponent’s aspirations.”
