Rebrov is Putting His Final Touches Ahead of the Boss Match Against Shabab Al Ahli

Talking About the Current Calendar Would Not Change Anything

“The Boss’ fans are significant groundbreaking in the UAE league,” the Al Ain First Football Team Supervisor responded to a question on his comment on tickets assigned to the Boss’ fans sold ahead five days of the matchday on Friday 29th October 2021.

He added: “Tickets sold is not unusual for Al Ain fans. For example, in the past match against Al Wasl FC, the same happened. Indeed, the support that Al Ain receives from the fans is an important motive for all the squad players to do their best on the pitch. It is also a reflection of positive indicators for the UAE football improvement, particularly when things are associated with the Ainawi Nation who always adopts the principles of excellence, supremacy, and creativity throughout the history of the Club.”

Abdullah Ali stressed that he trusts all players to show their genuine fighting spirit and deal with match details with a total concentration based on they are accountable to defend the Boss crest and reward the Ainawi fans who never let them walk alone and become player No. 1 in the team’s lineup.

Replying to a question on the tight schedule of matches and the short time between the league and cup matches, he commented: “In Al Ain Club, we adopt the principle of “deeds not words.” Therefore, when we have a major challenge, we have to handle all circumstances with positivity.”

He explained that big teams do not accept justifications, and talking about the team’s calendar in general, including loaning critical players to the UAE National Olympic Team participating in the AFC U-23 Asian Cup Uzbekistan 2022, not change anything.

Commenting on a question about not considering appointing a foreign referee for the coming clash match, he said: “Al Ain Club has a clear vision in this issue and supports the Emirati referees while retaining all the rights of the Club even if there are certain observations on their performance. However, mistakes are part of the football game, but they would be annoying if they are frequent.”

He went on to say that he believes that when a top match like the one between Al Ain, top of the league, and Shabab Al Ahli, holding the second spot in the league, is managed by Emirati officials successfully, would be a positive indicator that would undoubtedly be of an added value to the successes achieved by UAE football.

As for the team’s preparations for the coming clash match, he said: “There is certainly no time to rest as the time available is only 48hrs, and the whole squad is focusing on tomorrow’s match. Ukraine’s Sergey Rebrov has taken into account the factor of the short time space, and the team will conclude the training sessions today in Dubai.”

He signed off by wishing the Boss squad all the best.
