Al Ain And Al Wahda Players Visit Patients at The Children’s Cancer Hospital in A Festive Atmosphere Full of Human Feelings Marking the “Year Of Zayed” In Egypt
In a festive atmosphere filled with high feelings of human emotions, the extraordinary initiative organized by the Professional League Committee (PLC) on Thursday to visit Egypt’s “57357” Children’s Cancer Hospital Foundation by the stars of Al Ain and Al Wahda received a remarkable reaction from the children patients and their parents. The visit came on the on the sidelines of events associated with the Arabian Gulf Super Cup. Egypt’s media agencies covered the visit which coincides with the initiative of the “Year of Zayed”.
Al Ain delegation included Mohannad Salem Al Enezi, Mohammed Fayez, Jamal Marouf and Egypt’s Hussein El Shahat, Obeid Al Dhaheri, Al Ain’s Corporate Communication Officer, in addition to Fahad Masoud, Al Wahda Administrative Officer, and Hamdan Al Kamali.
The visit had an immaculate influence over the children and their families. The players of Al Ain and Al Wahda expressed their greetings on the occasion of Eid Al Adha and wish them all happy returns and wished the patients speed recovery. Then, they offered gifts presented by PLC, Al Ain and Al Wahda clubs to the patients.
Upon their arrival at the “57357” Hospital, the players were received by the officials of the Children’s Cancer Hospital Foundation, Khaled Al Awar, Director of PLC Marketing and Communication Department, Nora Adel, Director of Media Department, and representatives of Presentation Sports Company, the Super Cup organizer.
Mohannad El Enezi hailed the PLC’s initiative while stressing that Al Ain Club is so keen to participate actively in such initiatives, besides supporting all community events and humanitarian initiatives inside and outside UAE. He stated: “We felt proud and honored the moment we entered Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Section in addition to their highnesses the Sheikhs of UAE.”
He expressed his deep pleasure for sharing the patients the joy of Eid Al Adha in hospital. He further explained: “We all in UAE are so proud in the giving deeds of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may Allah rest his soul in peace, everywhere as we are celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founder’s birthday. in the “Year of Zayed”.
He added: “Visiting the sick children in Eid Al Adha left me with mixture of feelings of happiness to see the smile on their faces. However, we were affected by the suffering due to the pain they are suffering from. I pray for them and all patients to enjoy a speedy recovery and enjoy healthy long life.”
Egypt’s Hussein El Shahat said: “I would like to thank the PLC for such a remarkable humanitarian initiative. It was my desire to visit “57357” Hospital since long time ago. Thanks God I have been able to realize this desire today.”
He added: “Certainly, this visit is extremely dear to my heart and I could see how happy they were on their face. The visit had a positive influence on the patients, their parents and the hospital officials. I would like to thank the hospital officials for their hospitality and reception and hope to visit the hospital again in the future to congratulate the patients for recovery from cancer, God willing.”
