Stressed the Importance of High Concentration and Plying Real Football Against Khorfakkan.. Sergiy Rebrov: Al Ain is Ready for all Challenges in the New Season
In his first press conference held ahead of his team match against Khorfakkan, Ukraine’s Sergiy Rebrov stated that the Boss’ preparations for the new season went as planned.
“The players spare no effort during the pre-season preparations. It is for sure that we faced certain challenges, but we are all set waiting impatiently for the kick-off whistle to play the first match in the league,” he added.
As for his team’s preparations for the upcoming match against Khorfakkan, he said: “Our preparations went as usual. However, we stressed that it is an important match as it is the first in this season and for me as well. Therefore, I am sure that players are highly motivated to play and fully ready to play against the home team.”
He went on to say that Khorfakkan is a good team, and the Boss squad should play seriously. However, he also said: “Although I am sure the team is in form and ready for the coming match, they should show respect to the opponent and focus on playing real football.”
The Boss head coach stated that certain players are suffering from injuries, but there are 48hrs to decide based on the players’ status.
