Saeed Ahmad is Present in the Boss’ First Training Session

Following the end of the away and home pre-season training camps in Spain and Dubai lasted for 35 days, the Boss squad is back to Khalifa bin Zayed Stadium to resume their training sessions.

The pre-season training camp consisted of three phases. The first and second phases were during 12 July- 8 August 2021 in Spain, the third phase was during 8-15 August 2021 in Dubai.

As part of the team’s preparations for matchweek 1 of ADNOC Pro League scheduled to be on Friday 20 August 2021 at Khorfakkan Stadium, today kicked off their first training session following the short break granted to the players.

The training session was attended by Dr. Matar Al Darmaki, Chairman of Al Ain Football Club Company, along with the board members.

Saeed Ahmed attended today’s training. The new player received warmly by his new teammates and staff. Saeed stated that this has a positive impact on his morale, before, during and after the end of his first training session with Al Ain.

All players, including Bandar Al-Ahbabi and Caio Canedo, who joined the team on the last day of the Dubai camp, attended the training session.

It is noteworthy that during the pre-season training camp, Al Ain Team played eight friendly matches. The first match was against Spain’s Real Murcia and Al Ain won the home team by 1-0 scored by Laba Kodjo. The second match was against the University of Murcia Team who won Al Ain by 1-0, then the team played against Spain’s Levante and Al Ain lost to the home team by 1-0.

During the second phase of the Spain camp, Al Ain team played four friendly matches. Al Ain played against Real Murcia and won the home team by 1-0 scored by Argentine Guanca, then the team played against KSA Al Raed Team and won the Saudi team by 1-0 scored by Brazilian resident player, Rafael Pereira. Then the team won Spain’s Atletico Pulpelino and Union by 3-2, where Laba Kodjo, Yassin Meriah and Guanca scored the team’s goals. The last match was against Spain’s Deportivo Alzera by 1-0 scored by Jamal Marouf.
