Thanking the Players and Ainawi Fans.. Rebrov: We Achieved a Significant and Deserved Win Over Sharjah
The Ukrainian head coach of Al Ain First Football Team emphasized that a significant and deserved win over Al Sharjah by the finish whistle of matchweek 23 of ADNOC Pro League.
“We must focus on the recovery programs in preparation for Bani Yas match. We know well that we have a tight schedule in the league and other competitions, and this is why we should work hard to have the players in form,” Rebrov stated in the post-match press conference held in Hazza bin Zayed Stadium.
He added: “I would like to thank the players and Ainawi fans for a job well done on the pitch and the stands of our stadium.”
Rebrov stressed that they should close the chapter of the match against Al Sharjah and turn all sight to the coming matchweek 24 against Bani Yas and then the final match of the President’s Cup.
Responding to a question on media reports that Laba Kodjo will not play this match, he commented: “It is not a secret to tell that I was planning to give him a break as he was suffering from a minor injury in the connective muscle as he played most of the team’s matches this season.”
“When I had a meeting with him and explained how important this match is for the team, he assured me that he is ready for it and really did well in this match,” he concluded.
