The Boss squad reduced the gap with the top team to three points only following wining the guests, Al Sharjah, 2-0 by the end of matchweek 23 of ADNOC Pro League. The match was held at Hazza bin Zayed Stadium on Sunday 19th April 2023.

Al Ain Team took the lead in the first half 1-0. Laba Kodjo scored Al Ain Team’s double goals at “4” and “84”.
