The Boss Extends Winning Streak.. Al Ain Defeats Al Wasl 3-2 and Maintains Seven-Point Lead at the top of the League Table

Al Ain sealed a 3-2 win over Al Wasl at the end of matchweek 20 of the ADNOC Pro League. On Tuesday, 5 April 2022, the match was held at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium.

The first half of the match ended in a 1-1 draw. Al Ain took the lead by the goal scored by Togo’s Laba Kodjo at “29,” and then Brazil’s Gilberto Oliveira of Al Wasl leveled up the result from the penalty point at “42”. Caio Canedo scored the “Boss” and the second goal “61”. Al Wasl leveled up again through Ali Saleh’s “82”. Togo’s Laba Kodjo gave the Boss the upper hand scoring by scoring a superb goal one minute before the end of the match “89”.

With this result, Al Ain extended their lead on the standings table with 49 points. Meanwhile, Al Wasl balance freezes at 26 points and remains in seventh place.
