Al Ain Football Club Company has recently announced the renewal of the contract of Khalid Al Blooshi, “23 years”, for four seasons. The player’s contract is extended until 2026.

On this occasion, Khalid Al Blooshi said: “The invaluable confidence granted by the Club to continue defending the Boss’ badge by renewing my contract enhances my desire to give more to this lofty entity. It motivates me to move forward on the track of the legends who spent their career with Al Ain Squad and recorded their names with unprecedented achievements in letters of light in the golden record throughout the history of our big Club at the local and continental levels. I wish all my teammates all the best of luck in their careers.”

Al Blooshi expressed his deep appreciation and sincerest regard to the Club’s management and the coaching teams for all they showed during the past period and the continuous encouragement to push himself to the limit, notably when he underwent surgery.

“All this support helped me to boost my morale and speed up my return to the team’s training sessions,” he said.

In response to a question on his ambitions after announcing the renewal of his contract with the Club, he said: “Since I joined Al Ain Club when I was a player in the Al Ain Football School, my aspirations never soar below the skies.”

He added: “Our goals were always clear because we all play for a big club that gives you the motivation to embrace the glory and accomplish more achievements at the local and international levels. However, the renewal of the contract and the confidence of the coach, the management, and the fans of the “Boss” increase my responsibilities in defending the Al Ain badge.

“It is certain that I have my personal ambitions that are consistent with the goals of our great Club, that I seek to achieve in light of the high capabilities that the Club provides to the players. It is considered a stimulus for giving starting with the professional mentality of dealing of the management, coaching teams, the spirit of one family among the team members, and the strong support we receive from the Ainawi Nations,” he said.

Al Blooshi also said: “I am the son of Al Ain Club. I grew up in the football school and the Club’s academy until I joined the first football team. I never felt for a moment any shortcoming from the Club towards me and my fellow players over the years I spent in the Club. Therefore, we know that no matter what we offer to this entity, we still owe the Club more.”

Al Blooshi pointed out: “We are well aware of what we are meant to do in the new season. We will have a fighting spirit and focus and redouble our efforts to preserve the gains we achieved in the previous season. We will do our best to maintain the titles of the League and Pro Cup.”

On the impact of the Al Ain fans on the team’s performance, he said: “The Ainawi Nation is the most influential in our league. This is confirmed in numbers. We will always do our best to make them happy and fulfill their ambitions.”

Al Ain midfielder said: “After winning the two titles with Al Ain, i.e., ADNOC Pro League and PLC Pro Cup, I look forward to winning more titles and regaining the AFC Champions League title, in addition to playing FIFA World Club Cup.

Al Blooshi signed off by saying: “When winning a new title, such an achievement is associated with representing UAE in away competitions, and they have a particular taste and flavor. Indeed, Al Ain Club achieved unprecedented records and distinguished attendance in the name of our beloved homeland in various international, continental and regional competitions.

Biography

Khalid Al Blooshi joined Al Ain Football School in his childhood, and his football talent was developed within the walls of one of the best clubs on the Asian continent.

Al Blooshi was known for being a distinguished player who enjoyed elite skills. He performed wonderfully with the age group teams of Al Ain Club. The coaches added his name to the age group national teams at seven. He started from the junior teams until the Olympic teams.

Khalid Al Blooshi succeeded in adding his name with letters of light to the golden list of the squad who snatched the ADNOC Pro League and PLC Pro Cup titles.

Khalid Al Blooshi still remembers the names of coaches who supervised and trained him in his early years, developed his talent and enhanced his technical capabilities during the age stages. He still remembers the late Mohammad Hamdi, may God rest his soul in peace, Jamal A Hassani and Malik Abdullawi, and Genghis Khan at the Football Academy.
