Al Ain Team Misses Six Players as They All Joined Their National Teams

The Friendly Match Against Al Hilal United Witnessed the Return of Al Ain’s Midfielder Khaled Al Blooshi

“According to the pre-set preparations program during the current break, Al Ain Team will play its second friendly match against Mumbai City Football Club of the Indian Super League on 26th March 2022,” Ahmad Al Shamesi, Al Ain Team Manager, said.

Al Shamesi explained that the team’s preparations are going well and as planned per the approved plan set by Ukraine’s head coach Sergiy Rebrov.

“The squad is scheduled to play two friendly matches. The first one was played against Al Hilal United of the second division on Monday 21st March 2022 and ended by winning the guests by 3-1,” Al Shamesi stated.

Commenting on the gains achieved out of the first friendly match, he said: “Absolutely, lots of gains achieved, including the return of midfielder Khaled Al Blooshi who underwent successful surgery and back into form. Moreover, five players of the Al Ain Academy were selected to join the team and played the recent friendly match, including Khalifa Al Mazroui, Salmon Soso, and Jonas, in addition to several players from the Reserved Team.”

As for the second friendly match, Al Shamesi pointed out that the same players would play the second friendly match against India’s Mumbai City.

He also said that Soufian Rahimi would play the coming match who got a good break under the instructions of the head coach, who decided to exclude him from the team’s list of names.

Al Shamesi concluded by stating that the team would miss the international players who already have joined their national teams, namely: Khaled Eisa, Bandar Al Ahbabi, Mohammed Abbas, and Caio Canedo. Also, Togo’s Laba Kodjo, who has left recently to join his national team, and Naser Al Shukaili, who has joined the UAE Olympic National Team.
