Issam Abdullah, Administrative Manager of Al Ain first football team, emphasized that the second friendly experience that Al Ain had yesterday was a good one. ‘The Croatian Head Coach, Zoran Mamic has sought through such experiences to assess the readiness of certain aspects of the team performance. The team is currently pursuing its preparations according to the preparatory program approved by the coach,’ Abdullah added.

He further explained that players enjoy high spirits, especially that the injured players have rejoined the team. He pointed out that Al Ain is full of ‘international’ football stars and that each team player is aware of his role and knows the Asian championship value and importance. In addition, the current generation is experienced continental competitions as it had gone beyond this stage in more than one championship with various competitors.

He added that Al Ain would take the quarter-final first leg challenge with a strong desire to achieve a high result and, at the same time, show great respect to the ambitions of the opposing team, especially with such great fan support. I wish the best of luck for the team to achieve the ambitions of each affiliate to such prestigious sport entity.
