THE “BOSS” WINS AL FUJAIRAH BY 4-2 AND QUALIFIES TO PRESIDENT’S CUP SEMIFINAL

The “Boss” deservedly qualified for the semi-finals of the President’s Cup by winning Al Fujairah by a great result of 4-2 in the match held at Shabab Al Ahli Dubai in Al Aweer in the quarter-finals of the dearest tournament.

The first half of the match ended with Al Ain taking the lead over the sons of “Legend” Maradona by 3-1. Al Ain’s four goals were scored by Hussein El Shahat 30 and 39, Ahmad Khalil “29” and Caio Lucas “91”. Al Fujairah scored their two goals by Mohammed Khalfan “8” and Khalid Abdullah “52”.

Al Ain started the match be exerting high pressure on the opponent team to take the lead, but surprisingly Al Fujairah managed to score their first goal so early at the 8th minute of the match by Mohammed Khalfan following he found himself face to face alone with Al Ain’s goalkeeper Khaled Issa.

The referee canceled a goal scored by Al Ain’s striker Ahmad Khalil as he was trapped by offside at “28”. The same player came back and scored Al Ain’s first goal to level the result after a minute of cancellation of his previous goal “29”. It took El Shahat only one minute to add Al Ain’s second goal “30”. The Egyptian international player, Hussein El Shahat added his team’s third goal and his second personal goal at “39”.

The “Wolves” narrowed the gap in the second half by scoring their second goal by Khalid Abdullah “52”, but Caio Lucas was able to widen the gap again by scoring Al Ain’s fourth goal in the stoppage time “91”.
