Commenting on the match result and the Boss squad’s performance during the friendly match against Spain’s Deportivo Murcia FC, the head coach of the Al Ain Team stated to the Spanish media representatives: “I am pleased that all the team players were able to play for about an hour. It is good to see the results of the physical exercises during the pre-season training camp. The importance here lies in training all players to raise the level of physical fitness.”
He added: “I believe that everyone participated in the training at the same level, and the first two days of this week included intensive training sessions, and on the day of the match, also the last 30 or 15 minutes of the match, it was more difficult for the players also because the weather is very hot here in Murcia.”
The Dutch head coach expressed that he is content with the team’s performance as they performed and implemented the instructions precisely and as required.
