UAEFA Honors Issa Khalfan With Top Scorer Award of Juniors League 2017-2018

UAEFA crowned Al Ain U-15 player, Issa Khalfan, with the award of Top Scorer 2017-2018 of U-15 League. Khalfan become the star of the team by scoring 45 goals in 22 matches as this assisted his team to be the champs of the last season league. He was awarded the UAEFA shield and an appreciation certificate.

Abdullah Ali, Administrative Supervisor of Al Ain Football Academy, expressed his appreciation to Al Ain Club management who showed great attention to Al Ain quality players and the sincere efforts exerted by the Board of Directors of Al Ain Club Football Company chaired by H.E. Ghanem Al Hajeri. He also extended his sincerest gratitude to Sultan Rashid, Board Member and Sports Director, who spares no effort to furnish all success grounds for all administrative and technical staffs and Al Ain junior players. “All these efforts helped the academy to achieve the club’s goals of enhancing the squads of all Al Ain football teams and the UAE national teams with professional and high caliber players,” he stressed.

Ali Abdullah underlined that the award granted to Issa Khalfan will trigger the player’s motives to achieve his persona goals. he added: “He should know that the award is not the end target for him because a junior player’s aspiration should never soar below the skies. The main challenge he will be facing is dig his path to the first football team.” He congratulated the young player for winning this valuable award and wished him all the best.

Commenting on the achievements of the academy, he said: “We always stress the fact that we will be able to achieve the goals of the academy through collective work and enhancing communication channels with the first team. We cannot forget the role of the fans for their key role they play in motivating the players to fight to improve their performance and achieve great positive results in their matches.” He pointed out that in the team’s recent two matches against Al Sharjah and Al Nasr in the Arabian Gulf Cup, we spotted several quality players who need support by the head coach, administrative staff and the fans.
