Teams of Al Ain Academy Exhibit Superior Performance in Official Matches.. Kalzim: Al Ain Academy Has the Best Quality Players
During matchweek 1 of the official competitions organized by UAEFA for junior teams, Al Ain Football Academy football teams exhibited excellent performance. Al Ain U-18 Team won Bani Yas by 3-1 in matchweek 1 of the U-18 League. Al Ain team scored through Salem Amer “2 goals” and Khaled Waleed “one goal”. Bani Yas scored their only goal by Khalifa Omar.
On the other hand, Al Ain U-16 Team thrashed the home team Ajman by 8 goals while keeping their net clean. Al Ain scored the goals through Khaled Saleh “Hattrick”, Issa Khalfan “
Goals”, Yousef Abdo “2 goals” and Mohammed Jassem “one goal”.
Al Ain U-15 Team lost their match to Al Sharjah by 1-2. Khaled Ali scored for Al Ain their only goal while Saif Yousef scored two goals for Al Sharjah.
Al Ain U-14 squad was able to win AL Nasr by 5-2. Al Ain scored through Sultan Khalfan “Hattrick” and one goal for both Nahyan Mohammed and Abdullah Feisal.
The Head Coach of Al Ain U-14 Team commended the great performance of his team and stated: “The main goal for all teams of the academy is not to clinch titles as much we are focusing on developing the players’ potentials through the best scientific methods. The level of the team’s performance is always our top priority.”
He underlined that with the kickoff of the new season we observe that all performance indicators are positive. “We are taking advantage of the five substitutions in each match to give an advantage for all players to gain more experience. Definitely, official matches complement our job in training sessions,” he said. He also pointed out that the academy is lucky to have great and promising quality players and we are working hard to achieve the goals of the academy.
Responding to a question on the identity of the best players in the match against Ajman, he said: “Collective play grants all the players the title of the best player. If we are to name the best players, they are Abdullah Feisal, Abdul Rahman Shehab, Sultan Khalfan, Mansour Al Bloushi and Nahyan Al Ma’mari. They fulfilled their tasks as planned and accurately.”
