Al Ain Club has officially announced renewing the Boss international defender, Ismael Ahmad, for five seasons. The announcement has been made hours prior the kickoff of Al Ain first team match against Al Dhafra as part of week 2 of the Arabian Gulf League.

On this occasion, Ismael Ahmad expressed his sincerest regards and appreciation to H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed, Vice-Chairman of the Executive Council, First Vice President of Al Ain Sports and Cultural Club, First Vice President of the Honorary Council & Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Ain Sports and Cultural Club, for his massive support for sports and athletes in UAE.

He also extended his sincere thanks to the Board Members of Al Ain Club, H.E. Mohammed bin Thaloub Al Derie, Chairman of Al Ain Club Investment Company, H.E. Ghanem Al Hajeri, Chairman of Al Ain Club Football Company, H.E. Mohammed Obeid “Hammad”, Board Member of Al Ain Club Football Company and General Supervisor of Al Ain First and Reserved teams, and Zoran Mamic, Head Coach of Al Ain First Football Team, for their highly appreciated trust and significant caring. He also expressed his honor and pride to continue his career with the Boss and to have the honor to defend the logo of his dearest team for the coming five years.

“I will do my best and make all my experience at the disposal of my big sport entity to serve its best interests,” he added. He also stressed that he and his teammates will work hard to realize all the desired goals set by this great lofty club and to win all the challenges while wearing the Al Ain’s logo.

Additionally, he addressed a message to the loyal Ainawis by saying: “I would like to avail this occasion to thank our loyal Ainawi fans for their trust and unlimited support they do show for all the players in the standings and through all social networks on the internet.”

Commenting on a question on the offers he received as he entered the six-month period of his contract term, he stated: “I am fully convinced that Al Ain is my big home and its doors are always open for all its sons. Indeed, other offers never distract my attention and I do appreciate all the clubs who showed a genuine interest to sign a contract with me. Al Ain granted me and furnished all the grounds to make me successful player and my heart is with Al Ain all the time. Indeed, I have no options in my career except to play for Al Ain and words fall short in expressing my feelings towards my beloved club.”
