We Don’t Seek Excuses and Sights Set to Be Back to Victories Track.. Shiotani: We Are Heading to Dubai to Snatch the Three Points with All Due Respect to Al Nasr’s Aspirations
“It is so important to focus on winning Al Nasr at their home and snatch the three points. They are a strong team and showed they have quality players since the beginning of the new season. With all due respect to their aspirations, but we are going to their home filed to win them,” Japan’s Tsukasa Shiotani said in the pre-match press conference dedicated to matchweek 10 of the Arabian Gulf League against Al Nasr.
On the pressures that Al Ain is experiencing currently due to the poor results of the team, he said: “We will not seek excuses, for sure, and will not raise the issue of absent players as we are, simply, Al Ain. Big teams are always required to face all circumstances and win all challenges regardless of their volumes.”
He added: “This is why we know what we are meant to do! We look at such tough circumstances as good opportunities to prove that we are a big team. We could easily overcome them by high concentration, good preparations, showing the fighting and challenging spirits, and the desire to win the three points.”
Commenting on reasons behind the negative results during the past period, he stated: “Currently, we are not required to dig in and identify the grounds for such negative results. We have to close the last chapter and improve our conditions by focusing on our present and achieve positive results as of our next match against Al Nasr.”
