We Don’t Think About the Past.. Juan Carlos: Fully Confident We’ll Show the Best Performance and Achieve the Best Result
Spain’s Juan Carlos Garrido head coach of Al Ain FC stressed that his squad warriors are well aware of the importance of the ACL 2019 and the massive challenges associated with its clash matches. “We are highly motivated, and the team’s moral is high. All set to achieve our pre-set goals, and this is why we are here. I am fully confident that the squad will perform well and achieve the desired positive result.”
He added: “It is a fact that the team is not at its very best, but I am confident that we will recover and exhibit our strong and genuine charisma in the field. I am always requiring the players to enjoy the strong fighting spirit and desire to achieve the best results and keep going to improve their level of performance.”
Commenting on a question on Al Ain’s chances to qualify considering the team’s recent poor results in AGL besides losing to Al Duhail SC in their last two matches, he said: “Absolutely, Al Ain is one of the best football teams in Asia and has quality players. We are required currently to focus on tomorrow’s match and not to think about anything else. Also, we are required not to think about the past as we are going to play a new game in a different stage and our sights are all set to win our opponent and achieve the desired result.”
As for his team’s chances to qualify to the next stage, he stated: “Group C has the best teams in Asia. As I stated earlier, Al Ain has the best quality and international players who enjoy the required experience. If we can do our best on the pitch, then we will be able to win the opponent. We have to fight to improve our position in the standing table and boost our chances to snatch one of the two qualifying cards to the next stage of ACL 2019.”
