Egypt’s Hussein El Shahat, emphasized that words of thanks and appreciation are not enough to hail the “Boss’” fans who played an influential role in achieving that thrilling result of the “Derby” match through their ideal and incessant support during the whole minutes of the match. “If we have a real star of that confrontation, it will be absolutely the fans of the team who deserve to win the title “Best Man of the Match” for motivating the players by the finest cheering means to achieve that great positive result in Thursday’s clash match of the Arabian Gulf League,” said he.

“I believe that I agree with the talented head coach, Zoran Mamic, that the percentage is zero,” replying to a question on the percentage of winning the title of the league. He added: “Football does not recognize or acknowledge the inputs of reports and expectations as much as giving and demonstrating the spirit of fighting on the turf. Certainly, the coming stages are more important and we are meant to win the coming four matches to clinch the title.” He addressed a message to the loyal fans: “The coming stages requires the fans’ nonstop support because all the upcoming team’s encounters are not less in importance than the past “Derby” match.”

Commenting on the soaring victory over Al Wahda, he said: “Winning and losing matches are normal in the football world. We lost the matchround 17 against Al Sharjah, but we stood high in matchweek 18 against Al Wahda. However, the most important thing is to snatch and win the three points. Indeed, losing a match does not at all underestimate the value of Al Wahda as a big team. I have no doubt that fans of both teams infused the players to do their best in the pitch and really words of appreciation are not enough for them.”

El Shahat signed off: “Al Wahda match is over now and we are concentrating on the coming match against Iran’s Esteghlal and we all hope to receive a massive support from the loyal Ainawi Nation at the stunning architectural masterpiece, Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium. I do wish my team all the best of luck and to achieve all the desired goals in this current season.”
