Ismael Ahmad, Al Ain and UAE International Team defender, stated: “We all proud of Al Ain’s fans who have been proving day after day to be the difficult number and they are indeed No.1 player in the “Boss” squad for their significant role they always play from their stands prior, during and even after any match.” Commenting excitedly on the impact of their attendance of the “Debry” match: “Their presence absolutely has contributed to achieve the recent thrilling result against the runners up, Al Wahda.”

“Al Ain Team is in dire need of its loyal fans’ support during the upcoming local and continental matches.” Ismael Ahmad emphasized. He further explained: “This current season has already entered its critical final stages and every single confrontation is no more than a final match for us and will be more important than the previous one.” He stressed: “Our match against Al Wahda is over and it is something of the past at the moment. All what we are focusing on is our match against Iran’s Esteghlal of the AFC Champions League. We are so anxious for the fans’ massive support exactly similar to what we experienced during the recent “Derby” match.”

On the thrilling victory over Al Wahda, he stated: “Al Wahda is a great team and we all do respect this club and its fans; yet, losing a match is expected in football!” He added: “At any rate, regardless of the match result, the most important thing is its three points and winning that match is an important step ahead in the race to win the title of the league. Also, we do not have to forget that we still have other four matches and each one of them has the same degree of importance. This is why I call for the loyal fans to be available as we need their greater support in the coming stages.”

“On Tuesday we will play a very important match in the AFC Champions League. Our Sights are set right to snatch its three full points,” said he. He underlined: “We will not think about the result of the last match we played against the same team in the previous edition when we won by six goals because our competitor is for sure will be ready in a completely different way. He concluded by saying: “However, we are ready for the continental challenge against Iran’s team taking in consideration that we are playing on our own turf and among our fans.”
