Mohannad Salem El Enezi, Al Ain and UAE National Team defender, expressed his deep pride and appreciation to the Ainawi Nation for their infinite support for the team throughout this current season, outstandingly during the team’s recent clash match against Al Wahda. “Noteworthy, the recent “Derby” match has witnessed an unprecedent record at the level of all UAE stadiums in terms of the number of fans attending current season matches. This is a proof that Al Ain’s Fans are exceptional,” said he.

In response to a question on whether he believes that Al Ain has already put his hands on the trophy of the league by the thrilling victory over Al Wahda, he said: “The answer is absolutely negative because there still other four matches and Al Wahda is still at the heart of the competition. Losing in football is not the end of the world, and we have to be aware that the opponent’s chances to win the title is still valid.” He pointed out: “Winning Al Wahda pushes us a step ahead only and still we have other four clashes prior reaching the finish line.” He emphasized: “Every single match will be more important than its precedent! Therefore, we will get to grips with all of them with the same rationale of a “derby” match. Indeed, we hope we will receive the same support and back up by our loyal Ainawi fans and we all will raise the slogan of “To Be Or Not To Be”.”

On the coming home match against Esteghlal, he stated: “Following a short break, today we will resume our preparatory training program for one of our most important matches of the season against Iran’s Esteghlal.” He signed off: “We are meant to record our first win in the AFC Champions League, particularly we were held to draw result in our first two matches. We are ambitious to move ahead with our winning record at the local and continental levels.”
