We Play at Home and Among Our Fans and Our Target is the Match’s Three Points.. Sergiy Rebrov: All Set for Khorfakkan Clash Match and We Know Well It Will Not Be an Easy Match
Al Ain Head Coach, Ukraine’s Sergiy Rebrov, opened the pre-match press conference of matchweek 14 of the ADNOC Pro League, saying that it is always difficult for the team when the international players join the UAE National Football Team, in addition to the recent long 3-week break. I am sure that everybody is missing the official matches.
He stated ahead of his team’s match against Khorfakkan scheduled to be held at HBZS on Saturday 5th February: “We took advantage of the 3-week break and played two friendly games. They were good for the coaching teams to assess and collect information about the players. As for the international players, they played two official matches, and their performance was well. Now, we have to focus on the coming matches and close the chapter of the past matches.
Commenting on the team’s preparations for the coming home match, he said: “I do not expect that it will be an easy match, given they have a new head coach on board and all the players will do their best to convince him they are the best. However, we have to be ready considering that we are playing at home and among our fans.”
He signed off by stressing that his team needs to win the match’s three points and that “we all should be armed with self-confidence and focus only on the team’s affairs only.”
