Al Ain Team and Their Fans Adopts the Principle of Working in the Team Spirit
Al Ain head coach Sergiy Rebrov confirmed that the team’s preparations for the match against Al Nasr Team are running as usual and that there is no difference between preparing to play against Al Sharjah or Al Nasr or any other team.
“All the players should understand that regardless of the opponent’s name, we should always focus on ourselves. Since we are done with the league, we shifted our sights toward ADIB Cup. I am sure the players are waiting this match impatiently as we still have a chance to fight and win the title,” Rebrov stated in the pre-match press conference of the first leg of semifinal match of ADIB Cup against Al Nasr held this evening.
The Boss squad head coach stressed that the players did their best to make the fans happy who spare no effort in supporting the team. He also emphasized that it is great to have such great balance and cooperation between the players and fans.
“We always work hand in hand with the fans and work in the spirit of one team. I trust that fans will come and support the team to further enhance the team’s strength,” he added.
Commenting on a question regarding the players who are not expected to play next match, he said: “We have certain players suffering from minor injuries after the last match, given the conditions of the hot weather that definitely negatively impact the players’ performance.”
“Although players feel tired and exhausted, and as I stated earlier, everyone understands well the significance of the upcoming match. As for the players suffering from minor injuries, they have joined special recovery programs to be in form and play next match,” he concluded.
