Following beating Al Wahda Team in the matchweek 7 of the Arabian Gulf League, Pedro Emmanuel admitted that it was not an easy “Derby”.

He stated: “This is the third victory following two important ones, and absolutely the three points are more important than performance tonight. We played well, and we were lucky enough tonight, and most importantly, we did it.”

Pedro pointed out that it was not easy for him to change the plans and the team’s lineup every week; however, “we were required to work hard and boost our efforts to achieve our desired goals.”

As for the preparation for the match, he said: “When I kicked off the special preparations for this match, it was not easy for me to select the first eleven players as we have certain key players back to the team. I was planning to raise the competition level between the team’s players. At any rate, I hope that all the players will be available in the following matches to boost the strength of the team,” he said.

Pedro signed off by congratulating his squad for their impressive performance and stressed that the team needed these three points. He also expressed his sincere desire to see the fans in the stadium’s standings and celebrate the three points out of this derby match.
