It did not take Al Wasl much time to respond as they launched an organized attack started from the right-wing led by Caio Canedo who penetrated into the Al Ain box but he collided with the “international” defender Mohannad Salem Al Enezi who turned the ball into a corner but it was not invested rightly by Al Wasl.

The “Boss” Took the Lead

Khaled Issa starred in a reacting to a powerful ground shot sent by Ronaldo Mendez, but Al Ain’s goalkeeper controlled the ball confidently and calmly “15”.

The “Boss” managed to take the lead by scoring the first goal through Ismael Ahmad who waited for a perfect curled cross sent by team captain, Omar Abdel Rahman, from the right side from an angled free kick to find Ismael who aggressively met the ball by his head directing it into the back of the “Cheetahs” net where the motionless goalkeeper just went back to bring the ball out of the three posts “27”.

Unexploited Opportunities
Caio Lucas missed an ideal opportunity to boost his team’s lead after 3 minutes of scoring Al Ain’s first goal when he received a curled cross form the right side sent to him by Mohammed Ahmad. Caio found himself face to face with the goalkeeper but he sent a header far away from the back nets to be a goal kick “30”.

Japan’s Tsukasa Shiotani missed another ideal opportunity to add Al Ain’s second goal in Al Wasl’s net after receiving a “charming” cross sent by Rayan Yslam finding himself alone against the goalkeeper of Al Wasl, Sultan Al Montheri, but his shot hit the body of the goalkeeper to miss a great opportunity to enhance the “Boss’” lead by adding the second goal “36”.

Red Card for Mohannad

The last minute of the first half witnessed sending Al Ain’s defender, Mohannad Salim Al Enezi, off the pitch upon receiving a red card when he intentionally tackled Al-Wasl striker Fabio de Lima who was face to face with Al Ain’s goalkeeper by snatching him from behind before he entered into Al Ain’s area. The Referee firmly and without hesitation pointed to a free-kick point to the advantage of the home team which was executed by Lima but passed near the post and turned into a corner kick “45”. The first half ended to the advantage of Al Ain by 1-0.

“New” Amoory

Amoory sent a powerful accurate curly shot where the ball hit the right side of the post before embracing the back of Al Wasl’s net to announce the second goal for Al Ain.

Khaled Issa was a star when he sent a ballistic shot by Fabio de Lima from outside the box by his fingertips prior hitting the post and then turning it to a corner kick “73”.

El Shahat Returns Greetings

Egypt’s Hussein El Shahat was keen to pay tribute to his Coach Zoran Mamic who granted him the chance to play for the first time holding the logo of Al Ain in the second half when he scored the “Boss’” third goal following he received a cross from the right side sent by Bandar Al Ahbabi among Al Wasl’s defenders. El Shahat snatched the ball in the speed of light and penetrated into Al Wasl box prior facing the goalkeeper and sending it into Al Wasl net scoring a stunning goal at “78”.
