Zlatko: A Perfect opportunity awaits non-international players vs. Al Nasr
Introducing his squad’s 3rd game versus Al Nasr as part of Group B of the Arabian Gulf League ‘AGL’ next Friday at HBZ Stadium, Al Ain’s Croatian coach expressed first his deep appreciation to his men for their recent great efforts which were rewarded by a 3-1 win over Qatar’s El Jaish. He also extended his sincere thanks to Al Ain fans for their massive attendance and support to the team. He hoped his men would carry on their winning streak.
Hoping that his team will represent Group B to the AGL semifinals, Zlatko pointed out his view on the AGL competition “It’s a perfect opportunity for the non-international players who are not always selected in the starting lineup to play in the AGL games; besides, an opportunity to drill the rest of the players in preparation for our coming local and continental games,” he explained.
He assured the reporters about Saeed Musabeh Al Menhali; “He suffered a mild bruise during El Jaish’s game and there’s nothing to worry about it.” He concluded.
