Al Ain team has achieved a punch of gains when they played against their guest Hatta this evening on Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium in round 20 of the Arabian Gulf League (AGL). These gains include, among others, achieving an important win over the guest team 2-0, in addition to the confidence given by the Croatian Coach, Zoran Mamic, to a number of young players of his team.
The Boss’s two goals were scored by Danilo Asprilla “27” and Ibrahim Diaky “83” over the two halves of the game.
A win that takes ‘The Boss’ level at 43 points to be placed “temporarily” the second in the standings table. Hatta remain at ninth place with 20 points from as many games.
Al Ain started the game with considerable pressure on the goal of the guest team. The Brazilian Caio Lucas sent a powerful rocket shot from outside the box, but Obaid Raihan, the goalkeeper of Hatta, was able to save his goal brilliantly by redirecting the ball outside the upper corner of his goal to a corner, of which the host failed to take advantage “5”.
Al Ain imposed full control over the guest’s area of operation, depending on the “high pressure” technique from the depth and both sides. However, that offensive attempts of the “Boss” missed the final touch. Minute “18” witnessed a wonderful tiki-taka maneuver of short swift touches between the team captain Omar Abdel Rahman and the young defender Salem Azizi. Al Azizi passed a fantastic through ball to the striker Salem Al Kathiri inside the box but Hatta’s defender saved the ball bravely before Al Kathiri touched it.
After that, Al Ain’s Colombian Player, Danilo Asprilla, managed to translate his team’s superiority on the ground after “27” minutes, when he succeeded to score the first goal for the “Boss”. when he received an amazing through ball from Al Ain’s leader, then he controlled the ball and passed it skillfully through the defenders of Hatta, and then sending the ball towards the goal announcing Al Ain’s lead by scoring their first goal in the match. The first half ended 1-0 to the advantage of Al Ain.
The scenario of the game was by no means different in the second half. Al Ain imposed its control over the game, while Hatta set back in an attempt to mitigate the impact of Al Ain’s offensive attacks.
Ibrahim Diaky succeeded, as usual, to salute back his Coach Zoran Mamic, who gave him confidence and decided to engaged him in the second half, as he received a “fascinating” pass from “Ammory”, getting him in a full breakaway situation one-on-one with Hatta goalkeeper. He scored the ball to announce the emphasis of his team triumph with this second goal.
