Zoran Tests Al Ain Reserve Team Against “Al Ameed”

Al Ain lost to hosts Al Nasr 3-0 in the match held at Shabab Al Ahli Dubai Stadium in Al Aweer in the final round of the group stage of the Arabian Gulf Cup.

“Al Ameed” finished the first half by taking the lead by 2 clean goals. The three goals of Al Nasr were scored by Salem Saleh who scored double goals “16 and 62” and Marcello da Silva “2”.

By this result, Al Ain points are frozen at 7 and placed third in the standing table while Al Nasr moved to the second place with 10 points in their balance. the two team are qualified to the following stage of the competition.

The second minute of the match witnessed scoring a quick goal by Al Nasr through Marcelo da Silva who received a ball bounced back from the purple defenders inside the box to send it directly in the left corner of the back nets of Bu Senda and to announce Al Nasr lead of the match. Al Nasr head coach was forced to substitute his player Mubarak Saeed by Saeed Swaidan at “9” minute for injury. Salem Saleh was able to enhance Al Nasr lead by scoring his first goal and the second for Al Nasr when he received a superb pass from Rashed Mohammed Omar who sent it behind Al Ain defenders to put Saleh in front of the goalkeeper. He calmly put the ball in the right corner at “16”.

After the second goal, Al Ain sought to minimize the gap and Ali Eid was almost there to score the first goal when jumped high to hit a cross form Suleiman Naser sent for the right side to send a powerful header shot that passed the goalkeeper, but Al Nasr defender, Joan Omari was able to send it out before crossing the line saving his team’s net from a goal “35”.

Youssef Ahmed was so close to score a goal when he found himself face to face with Ahmed Shambeh, but the latter was able to turn the ball into a corner in the extra added time of the first half. Following that, the referee Yacoub El Hammadi whistled announcing the end of the first half by 2-0 for Al Nasr.

At “62”, Salem Saleh was able to score the third goal to his team and his second personal goal to enhance Al Nasr’s lead and to finish the match by winning Al Ain by 3-0.
