Zoran Mamic, the Head Coach of the “Boss”, underlined the importance of his team’s coming clash against Al Nasr in the final round of the group stage of Arabian Gulf Cup. He further explained: “We are facing exceptional challenges in the current season at different levels. Indeed, big teams has always different situations as they are not only take part in competitions but also competing to win titles. So, my team is required to maintain achieving victories given that player not joining the UAE National Team and those who recovered from injuries are highly motivated to do their best in official matches of Al Ain and to defend their team’s logo honorably.”

“We will assess the level of readiness of some players during the final training session tomorrow prior taking the final decision on who will be in the starting lineup,” said he. He added: “Definitely, I will give the chance for new players who did not have the chance to play in the past matches.  I have full trust in the ability of all the players to present their best levels and show their quality skills that will enable them to achieve the best results with all due respect to competitors.”

On the match against Al Nasr, he commented: “As a matter of fact, Al Nasr is a good team and has distinct players and above all they have a great Coach. We all well aware that our mission will not be easy when facing a big team. However, Al Ain team has excellent players who enjoy the required quality skills.”

Responding to a question on his expectations regarding Al Ain’s performance following the team’s qualification, he said: “Ain’s strategy is clear when it comes how to deal with all conditions and all matches. Winning our matches is always the main goal of the team in all their confrontations. As I have already mentioned to you, we look forward to keep going with achieving victories and I do believe that qualification to the quarterfinals of the competition will not change our strategic goals but will enhance the players’ desire who have been up to all challenges in the previous stages. They proved that they are eligible to be at that stage of the competition and exhibit distinct performance that will enable them to snatch the three points.”
