Ivić: Al Ain Club possesses the mentality of triumph… And we do not look behind
The results of Kalba Club do not reflect its true performance and we have to concentrate over all match details
Vladimir Ivić, who is the Serbian head coach of Al Ain first football team, emphasized that “the mentality of triumph”, with which his team’s squad is characterized, represents a big push forward to work harder and to keep improving. He also stressed that the concentration of himself and his team players as well is now focused on the upcoming step without even looking back at what have already been accomplished, just before the team plays its upcoming match vs Kalba Club’s outside its grounds, during the fourth round of competitions of ADNOC Pro League football tournament.
The Serbian head coach of Al Ain first football team said the following statement: “Our concentration is now focused on daily work, and we do not look behind or even consider what we have already accomplished for longer periods of time, rather, we consider what we are going to do next. This squad possesses the mentality of triumph, and the players have the required motive to work harder and to accept the new ideas for the sake of continuously improving our overall performance, so we have to continue what we have already started because our sought after goal is to claim victory.”
Al Ain Club’s Serbian head coach emphasized over the importance of not evaluating the performance of Kalba Club based on its aggregate out of the first three rounds of competitions, he also emphasized that the competing team plays a different kind football than what they delivered through the previous season, they also have in possession a squad of players who are capable of creating the sought after danger.
He also said the following statement: “Kalba Club claimed only one point out of three matches they played through this season, but they were successful in creating scoring attempts in every match they played, while their style of play is different than what they delivered through the previous season. They have high quality players, especially in the midfield, they can also play under pressure, create the final assist, as well as shooting the ball from longer distances.”
