The Boss Crowns the Emirates Volleyball Cup in the Heart of “Dar Al Zein”

Al Ain Club added a prestigious new trophy to its fortress of achievements in “Dar Al Zein,” as the Men’s First Volleyball Team was crowned champions of the Emirates Cup for the 2025-2026 sports season. This follows a well-deserved 3-1 victory over visitors Bani Yas in the final match held at the Al Ain Club Hall, amid a celebratory atmosphere and a massive crowd that cheered the champions to the podium.
The match reached the heights of excitement and rivalry, with “The Boss” asserting control over the sets, which concluded with scores of: (26-24, 24-26, 25-17, 25-19). With this victory, Al Ain increased its tally of Emirates Cup titles to six, marking a triumphant return to the podium for this cherished championship after an eight-season hiatus.
Following the achievement, H.E. Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Ain Sports and Cultural Club, congratulated the team via his official account on the “X” platform, stating: “Congratulations to Al Ain Club on winning the Emirates Volleyball Cup. An outstanding performance by our players throughout the tournament. Best of luck to the team in upcoming challenges, and to all the club’s sports teams in achieving further success and championships.”
The coronation ceremony was graced by the presence of H.E. Abdullah Al Darmaki, President of the UAE Volleyball Federation; H.E. Sultan Hamad Al Mutawa Al Dhaheri, Director of the Vice President’s Office for Special Affairs at the Presidential Court and Board Member of Al Ain Club; and H.E. Major General Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bani Yas Club.
The final also witnessed the launch of the “Proud of the Emirates” campaign, which embodied the cohesion of the sports community with the nation and reflected the stability and leadership enjoyed by the country’s sports sector.
This coronation proves the high capability of Al Ain Club’s sports sector to compete and secure titles.
