Al Ain Club Celebrates Participating Teams in International Tournament

Al Ain Team Loses to KSA National Team, Marking Their Second Victory in the Tournament 

Eyes On Toady’s Derby Between Al Ain and KSA Al Ahli

Al Ain Sports Games Company and the Organizing Committee of the Al Ain International Volleyball Tournament held a stylish ceremony for the participating teams in the Al Ain Club International Volleyball Tournament yesterday.

The ceremony, held at the Chairman’s Lounge in Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium, was attended by the Chairman of the Sports Games Company, H.E. Khamis Obaid Al Kaabi, Abdul Aziz Al Junaibi, Vice-Chairman and Chairman of the Organizing Committee, heads of participating delegations, Al Ain Police Directorate, Al Ain Municipality, volunteers, representatives of all public and private entities, and the media reporters.

The heads of the participating clubs expressed their appreciation and pleasure in participating in the tournament, considering that the tournament achieved its goals and countless gains in promoting ties between brotherly countries.

The ceremony program, which witnessed a significant interaction among the attendees, included a presentation video on the capabilities, capacities, and achievements of the various Al Ain Club companies.

By the end of the program, the heads of participating clubs exchanged memorial shields to express their pleasure in participating in the tournament. Then, they all toured the facilities of Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium, the best stadium in the world for 2014.

Al Ain Sports Games Company honored the tournament sponsors, including Burjeel Medical Group, the official sponsor of the tournament, the UAE Volleyball Association, B.P. Sports, Prisma Qadara Public Relations, the organizing company for the tournament, Al Ain Police Directorate, Al Ain Municipality, UAE University, Al Ain Club for People of Determination, and United Printing and Publishing.

Three Tough Matches on the Penultimate Day of the Tournament

Three exciting confrontations will be held on Saturday evening, the penultimate day of the tournament. The first match starts at 03:00 pm between the Algerian Al Gil Alsaad and Egyptian Zamalek teams. Then, at 05:00 pm, the Saudi Arabia First National Team will play against the Kuwaiti Al Arabi Team. The top and firing last match will be between Al Ain Team (the host) and the Saudi Arabia Al Ahli Team.
