Al Ain Female Team is All Set for the Mother of the Nation Jiu-Jitsu Championship

Al Ain Jiu-Jitsu Female Team concluded their final training session on Tuesday 26th August 2020 evening at the Dusit Thani Hotel in preparation for the third and final round of the Mother of the Nation Jiu-Jitsu Championship scheduled to kick off on Thursday 27th August at the Abu Dhabi Arena.
Noteworthy, this last championship for this season is organized by the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Association with the participation of 180 players representing Al Ain, Al Wahda, Bani Yas, Al Dhafra, Al Wasl, Fujairah and Shabab Al Ahli Dubai clubs. Holding this championship coincides with the celebrations marking the International Women’s Day.
Al Ain Female Team would participate with 46 female Jiu-Jitsu players competing for winning the title of the dearest championship in the local arena.
The UAE Jiu-Jitsu Association has been keen to furnish all the essential support to ensure the success of the training camp where all the players could achieve optimal benefits by adopting an intensive program under the national coaching teams’ supervision.
The training program included jiu-jitsu tactical training, physical fitness exercises, and recovery sessions to provide the female players with a unique experience that boosted their physical and psychological readiness and was set for the matches.
The Mother of the Nation Jiu-Jitsu Championship is an essential women’s sports platform for the female players seeking professionalism and achieving local, continental, and international achievements. The competitions are limited to female Emirati players’ participation, and matches are managed by female referees supported by female medical and technical staff.
Participation in the final round is limited only for the female players who participated in the closed training camp considering their readiness and ability to compete. They are expected to perform well in a manner that matches the importance of the occasion. Moreover, these female players were subject to all preventive measures per the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Association’s medical protocol.
