Receiving Champs of Al Ain Swimming Team Following their Participation with UAE National Swimming Team.. Khuwaiter: We Value the role of the Al Ain Coaching Teams and Plan to Have Champions

During a reception held to recognize the achievements of Al Ain swimmers at the Excellence School, Khuwaiter Al Dhaheri, Board Member of Al Ain Sports Games Company, congratulated Al Ain swimmers for their participation with the UAE National Swimming Team in the 27th GCC Water Sports Championship held in Kuwait during 5-8 September 2019.
Khuwaiter hailed the new achievement by saying: “It is a new achievement of our blessed homeland. It is the result of hard efforts exerted by the swimmers during the whole period of training and the pre-set goals to be achieved.”
He stressed that Al Ain is always supporting the UAE National Swimming Team with sights set high to raise the UAE flag in all sports events.
He also commended the efforts of the coaching tea and administrative staff to boost the performance of the swimmers to be fit and ready to clinch new titles, win medals and achieve new records. “We are working hard to present new champs in swimming sport who are honored to represent the UAE in local, regional, and international championships.”
“The new achievements bring back the name of the homeland to crowning podiums and break the records by Al Ain champs who were part of the national team in this championship.”
Noteworthy, Mohammed Rashid Al Kuwaiti won the silver medal in the 100-chest race in a total time of 1.20.60, breaking the race record. He also won the silver medal in the 50 meters chest-race in 36.60 to break the UAE record and the bronze medal in the 50 meters freestyle in 29.65.
Al Ain swimmer Saif Ghareeb Al Bloushi won the silver medal in the 200-meter medley in a total time of 2.41.92, and the bronze medal in the 100-meter backstroke within 1.17.15.
