Al Ain Club’s head coach praises the support of Sheikh Sultan Bin Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan

Vladimir Ivić, who is the Serbian head coach of Al Ain first football team, praised the big support his team is receiving from Sheikh Sultan Bin Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who is the chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Ain Sports Club. He also emphasized that this support represented a fundamental pillar in the coronation of “The Boss” with the title of ADNOC Pro League football tournament for the season 2025-2026, two rounds before its official end.
The Serbian head coach of Al Ain first football team said the following statement: “I congratulate Sheikh Sultan Bin Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan over this great accomplishment, I would also like to thank him over his continuous support and his constant keenness to be present with the team, which had a great influence over claiming the title.”
Al Ain Club’s head coach also added the following statement: “I congratulate the fans of Al Ain Club and everyone who works with the Club. We restored the title after 5 years, which reflects the volume of work which took place inside our team’s ecosystem. I am very proud of the players and of their commitment from day one inside the boot camp, I am also proud of the improvement they have shown from one match to the next.”
The Serbian head coach emphasized through the following statement that: “Today, our team players have proved, as they did all along the season, that they are the best team in Pro League and on the level of the United Arab Emirates.”
Ivić talked about the match with the following statement: “We deserved to claim victory. We also managed to deliver a brilliant performance and succeeded in scoring 5 goals. We created several scoring attempts, while the competing team did not impose any real threat to our net.”
Al Ain Club’s head coach also added the following statement: “In the previous matches we managed to create the same number of scoring attempts and did not score, but football relies on details. The first goal grants the team confidence and opens the match, and that’s what happened today.”
Al Ain Club’s head coach pointed out that the journey towards the title was not easy, so he said the following statement: “We underwent difficult circumstances during the season, starting from injuries and the continues substitutions in our lineups, especially on the level of the local players. We had to find solutions in every match we played, which required us to deliver a big group effort.”
The Serbian head coach of Al Ain first football team went on by adding the following statement: “Champion teams are the ones who are well aware of how to deal with pressures and adapt to the circumstances, and this is what where we were successful in realizing.”
Ivić praised the role of the medical staff and the administrative support, so he said the following statement: “The medical staff did a great job in preparing the players and minimizing the injuries, and this is an important element during a long season. While the support we always receive from the Club’s administration also had a decisive role in realizing our sought after goals.”
Over the pressure, he said the following statement: “We do not fear pressure, rather, we deal with it as an integral part of football. While our players were successful in showing a highly professional mentality all along the season.”
Al Ain Club’s head coach also added the following statement: “Our sought after goal is clear, which is to claim the title and create history, and we were successful in doing this.”
He mentioned his team’s defeat in the final match of Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Cup “ADIB”, so he said the following statement: “After that very match, I emphasized to the players that their performance was brilliant and the results will be positive if we maintained the same level. Today I saw the outcome of that work.”
Al Ain Club’s Serbian head coach concluded his remarks by saying the following statement: “Our season is not over yet, as we still have three matches, while our sought after goal is to maintain our streak of victories and to maintain the same level until season’s end.”
