Abdullah Ali, the Team Supervisor, hailed the level of commitment to the health measures and protocol that the whole mission members of the Club.

“The training program in the away summer training program ongoing in Spain is on the right track. The head coach looks forward to holding more friendly matches durng the upcoming period to evaluate the players’ performance and handle all mistakes. This is part of his training program to make his team ready technically and physically throughout the camp and in line with the precautionary measures,” Abdullah said.

In response to a question about his opinion on the team’s first friendly match in Spain, he said: “It is certain that the coaching team achieved the desired gains from holding the team’s first friendly match in Spain’s Camp ended with losing to the University of Murcia Team 0-1 regardless of the result of the match, because the results of friendly matches are not a criterion for evaluating a team’s current performance.”

He added: “The Ukrainian coach, Serhiy Rebrov, was so keen to hold the match in the morning period, in line with his intensive training program, in two morning and evening shifts. This means that every player would get used to playing in different atmospheres and different times. Today, no player in the squad was injured.”

Abdullah Ali insisted that the current stage is dedicated to boost up the level of the players’ physical fitness, according to the training programs adopted by the coaching team.

He concluded by saying: “Indeed, there are technical gains from the friendly match that the coach has identified. Once the team’s players are all rejoin the squad and the injured return, the team’s final shape will certainly become clearer.”
