Al Ain, Ahli of Saudi Postpone Friendly Game for Bad Weather in Austria

Al Ain FC Manager, Matar Obeid Al Daheri, “Al Sahbani”, has said that Al Ain and Ahli of Saudi have jointly decided to postpone their friendly game in Austria for the “bad weather” there, especially that it would take the two teams around 90 minutes to reach the playfield.
In statements, Al Sahbani said that the game is postponed for one day to be played on Uttendorf Stadium at 5:30 p.m. (Vienna local time) 7:00 p.m. (Abu Dhabi local time) on Thursday 27th July.
On the conditions of players who travelled to Barcelona for medical tests, he stressed that results were good and they continued training sessions in the Gymnasium hall this morning.
“The players, namely Khalid Issa, Ismail Ahmed, Omar Abdul Rahman, Amer Abdul Rahman and Ahmed Fahim, will have a special training program this night,” Al Sahbani added.
“The main aim behind sending the players to Barcelona was to check them out, especially because that the team is planned to have a very important challenges in the coming season,” the team official said.
He concluded, “Such important games, starting with the game against Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal in the first leg of the AFC Champions League quarterfinals, require that all players of the team are fully ready.”
