Al Ain Chairman Expresses Confidence in Mamic’s Decisions

Ghanim Mubarak Al Hajeri, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Ain Football Club, has expressed confidence in the decisions of the team’s Croatian Head Coach Zoran Mamic.
Al Hajeri said that all issues related to the technical needs and the team preparations are the responsibility of Mamic. The Chairman of “The Boss” stressed that Mamic has the absolute authority to take the team decisions, especially after the meeting held to identify the team goals in the new season.
Commenting on media reports that hinted to a potential transfer of the team Captain Omar Abdul Rahman to France League 1, the chairman said, “It’s nothing but rumors.”
“We received no official offers for Omar Abdul Rahman,” Al Hajeri said, pointing out that Amoory is a fortune not only for the Garden city club but also for Asia.
Mr. Chairman said, “Al Ain is proud of Abdul Rahman and the Asian Football Confederation is also proud for having such skilled player in its tournaments.”
“In case there is any offer for Amoory from any European club, the team management will deal with such issue according to the directives of the club wise leadership as well as the team aspirations,” he said.
“The player is skilled enough to play in the strongest leagues in Europe,” Al Hajeri said He stressed that “Amoory’s signing for a European club will be a great step for the national team, the player himself and Al Ain club.”
On the request of Mamic to retain Brazilian Striker Dyanfres Douglas, Al Hajeri said “As I told you before, the decision regarding the foreigner players are left for the Head Coach and the concerned committee. The Head Coach is the one who will write the final list of squad he is going to engage in the coming season”.
He asserted that the management is keen on providing all capabilities and needs with the aim of having a very strong team in the regional and local games of the coming season.
“The Head Coach, Zoran, is currently preparing the team and taking the final decision regarding the team starting line-up especially after the return of the injured players, as well as the participation of young players in the pre-season program,” Al Hajeri noted.
“We told the Head Coach that the team leadership has a clear vision of providing all what is needed to achieve the highest levels of success,” the chairman concluded.
