Al Ain Loses to Al Sharjah 2-1

Al Ain lost to Al Sharjah in a thrilling match of the matchweek 8 of the Arabian Gulf League held at the Hazza bin Zayed Stadium on Wednesday 31st October 2018.

Al Sharjah took the lead through their striker Welliton Soares “25” and in the 60th minute his countryman, Coronado added his team’s second goal. Marcus Berg was able to reduce the deficit in the 67th minute.

By this result, Al Sharjah opened up a four-point gap at the top of the table with a balance of 20 points and kept their undefeated record intact. Meanwhile, Al Ain moved back to the third spot on 16 points.
