Al Ain Defender Mohammed Salem Al Dhaheri asserted that the Garden City Club was very close to win the game against the Ahli of Saudi in the AFC Champions League Group C fixture at the latter’s own backyards at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium.
Of course it is not a bad result, the defender said, pointing out that team sought to win the game against a stubborn competitor at their stadium and among their fans.
Al Dhaheri thanked his teammates for the great performance and string desire to win the Shining Jewel game, stressing out that the team still has chances to qualify and asserting that winning the home game against Al Ahli is a must.
We will be keen all the time to show our strong personality against all opponents that know that Al Ain is one of the most prominent candidates to win the title, the thing that increases the games difficulty.
