Al Katheeri: It’s not an achievement
Thanking Allah and congratulating Al Ain Club’s leadership, management and fans on advancing to the AFC Champions League final, Saeed Al Katheeri said: “Now I think that all Al Ain people want us to win the title for the second time in the Club’s history.”
“Reaching the final is not an achievement for a team like Al Ain,” he continued, “We did that before, and in the last two seasons, we advanced to the quarterfinals and semifinals, but nobody remembers that. Everybody remembers the achievement of 2003, and God willing we will do it again in 2016 as His Highness Sheikh Hazza Bin Zayed Al Nahyan tweeted that the title will be for Al Ain, and I hope that all UAE and Al Ain people will remember both dates.”
