Al Sahbani: Al Ain should regain personality of the “Boss” in 2003
Team Manager of Al Ain first team Matar Obaid Al Sahbani called for regaining the personality of the “Boss” in 2003 as the team is going to be a part of very hard group in the 2018 AFC Champions League.
Al Sahbani stressed that the Group D will be the strongest group in the tournament. The group will include Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia, Iran’s Esteghlal, Al Rayyan of Qatar and the winner of a Playoff between Al Ain and Malkiya of Bahrain.
I believe that we are part of the hard group due to the team position in the Arabian Gulf League last season, Al Sahbani said.
Thanks to its distinguished capabilities and experience in the continental tournament, Al Ain is not afraid of any football team in Asia, the official said.
He called on the team to get well-prepared for the match against the Bahraini team and matches of the Group stage.
Al Sahbani stressed that the Garden City Club is able to go deep in the tournament, pointing out that the team should be supported by new signings.
I felt very proud when official of the Asian Football Confederation expressed happiness for having Al Ain back in tournament, Al Sahbani noted.
