Al Sahbani heads Al Ain delegation to AFC Champions League group-stage draw
Team Manager of Al Ain first team Matar Obaid Al Sahbani headed the delegation of “the Boss” to the group-stage draw ceremony of the 2018 AFC Champions League.
The ceremony will be held at the AFC Headquarters in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on Wednesday, 6th December.
The team delegation will also attend an AFC Champions League Workshop to discuss all details related to the competition’s rules and regulations.
Al Ain is scheduled to play against Malkiya Club of Bahrain at the Hazza bin Zayed Stadium in the qualifiers for the group stage.
In the group stage, 32 teams will be drawn into eight groups of four sides — four groups each in the West Region (Groups A-D) and East Region (Groups E-H). Teams from the same association cannot be drawn into one group.
The group stage will be played on a home-and-away round-robin
