Asprilla: team is ‘on fire’ to knock off Al Ahli
Danilo Asprilla, Al Ain’s Colombian striker, said the team is more than ready to take on Al Ahli in the Round of 8 of The President’s Cup competition. “We know the encounter won’t be easy. But we do have the factors and desire to take the challenges in all local competitions”.
“I think the game against Al Ahli is the most important currently as we deal separately with each match. Our aim is to win and qualify for the quarterfinals of the competition”, he explained.
“The game requires all the players to be fully focused. Losing the title last year makes us bear extra responsibility to shake it off this year by all means, it is a new challenge and the squad is ready to achieve all its objectives in the current season”, he concluded.
