Thanks to Everyone for their Robust and Constant Support

Upon joining the team’s training sessions, Caio Canedo expressed his pleasure to be back and join the team training sessions. He extended his sincerest gratitude and appreciation for offering him vital healthcare services provided by the UAE for the citizens and residents under the directives of the UAE wise leadership and or all the efforts exerted by the health center and medical treatment centers available in all regions of the UAE.

He added: “I would like to avail this opportunity to extend my appreciation to the Board of Directors of Al Ain Football Club Company, Medical Committee, coaching teams, and the administrative staff for their support and to follow up my medical status since day one of my arrival. Indeed, it is not an unusual thing here in Al Ain as we all deal with each other in the spirit of the one family. Also, I would like to thank coach Pedro Emmanuel who supported me in this critical situation and not to forget all the Emirati fans who were asking about my health and supported me via social medial platforms.”

Commenting on his current health conditions, he stated: “Actually, I did not suffer from any symptoms since I have arrived in the UAE until I recovered from Coronavirus. The first test result was negative, but the second disappointed me. However, I got my balance again due to the support of my family and friends. I did receive the necessary medical care and was subject to several periodical tests during the past period and happy to kick off my training sessions with my teammates.”

Caio put an accent on the importance of maintaining the health and safety of the whole community as a priority. “Thank God for being healthy after a tough experience. It is all about commitment to overcome this pandemic; otherwise, we would contribute to spreading the virus. Figures do not lie, and all we see worldwide and the number of death cases make us take it seriously. From the bottom of my heart, I wish nobody is infected by this virus and hope that the regulations commit everybody and that this pandemic comes to an end.”

In response to a question on being unable to join the UAE National Football Team during the first training camp, he said: “I have a big passion for defending the crest of the UAE National Football Team. The most important challenge for me is to play in a manner that satisfies my personal aspirations and others as well. Meanwhile, the past circumstances added new and completely deferent challenges that we have to win while combating the novel Coronavirus.”

He signed off by saying: “Once we overcome this pandemic, I am looking forward to achieving my goals with the national team and Al Ain Club.”
