By Saeed Jumaa Solitary Goal in Uzbek Bunyodkor Net Al Ain Qualifies to the Groups Stage of AFC Champions League 2020
Al Ain succeeded in reserving their seat in the AFC Champions League 2020 when the Boss squad defeated the Uzbek Bunyodkor by 1-0 in the playoff match held on Tuesday 28th January at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium.
Al Ain scored their goal through the right back Saeed Jumaa at 78th minute of the match. By this goal, Jumaa awarded his team the qualifying card to the Groups Stage of the Asian competition.
The champion of the 2003 edition of the AFC Champions League will play against They will now join Saudi Professional League winners Al Nasr FC, Persian Gulf Pro League outfit Sepahan SC, Qatar Stars League champions Al Sadd SC in Group D of the AFC Champions League.
Al Ain will start its journey in this competition in February 2020 by hosting Sepahan SC at the Hazza bin Zayed Stadium.
