In the first press conference of the new season dedicated for his team’s match against Ajman, Bandar Al Ahbabi stressed that the Boss match against Ajman will not be easy.
The Winner of the PLC Best Emirati Player stated: “Our preparations for the new season went as planned. We all understand that all opponents, special Ajman Team, prepared well for the new season. However, we are determined to back home with three points in hands with all due respect to the home team. Indeed, if we win Ajman, this will be a good motive for the squad to keep going and win the other coming matches.”
He added:” the climate in the team’s changing room is motivating and positive. All the players deal with each other as one family and there is a significant harmony among the players including the new comers who joined the team this summer.”
“As players, we have crystal-clear goals as I stated before. We will spare no effort this season and it is not a secret to tell you that the Boss squad has the best players ever at present. Sights are set to keep going and win more titles and cups and above all make our fans happy,” he said.
As for being named the Best Emirati Player by UAE PLC in the previous season, he commented: “First of all, thank god for being lucky enough to win the Best Emirati Player Award. It definitely gives me the motive to do more this season as I believe I could do more and I promise to push myself to the limit along with my teammates seeking to achieve the best results that are in line with our personal aspirations and satisfy our loyal Ainawi fans.”
He addressed a message to the Ainawi fans, winners of the Highest Overall Fan Attendance Award expressing his trust they will support the players massively.
He concluded his statement saying: “They are the main motive for us to push ourselves to the limit and win all challenges. We will be waiting for them to kick off our challenging journey and the start will be from Ajman Club Stadium marking matchweek 1 of ADNOC Pro League.”
